Author Guidelines

Prepare a manuscript

Provide a precise title, structured abstract, keywords, author names and affiliations, and an ORCID identifier where available. Research submissions should state their question, method, evidence, results, limitations, and relationship to prior work. Include complete references with DOI or stable source URLs wherever possible.

Evidence and reproducibility

Identify data sources, units, observation periods, retrieval dates, transformations, and software versions. Report sample sizes, denominators, missing-data treatment, uncertainty measures and the statistical methods used. Distinguish observed results from simulations, assumptions, and proposals. Supply a data-availability statement and accompanying datasets or repository links where sharing is permitted.

Files and anonymity

Submit an editable manuscript and a readable PDF. Keep identifying details in the submission metadata and a separate title-page file. Remove author names and identifying file properties from the version intended for anonymous review. Upload code, data dictionaries, figures, and other supporting material as labelled supplementary files. Do not upload information you lack permission to disclose.

Review and revision

The initial workflow uses editorial screening followed by double-anonymous external review for research articles. Editors select qualified reviewers, manage conflicts, and record decisions. This describes the configured process, not a claim that every submission has completed peer review. Commentary or editorial material may follow editorial assessment and must be labelled accordingly. Respond to revision requests point by point and identify changed text.

Integrity and rights

All listed authors must consent to submission. Disclose funding, relevant interests, prior dissemination, and substantive use of AI tools. Authors remain responsible for accuracy and references. Identify any overlapping submission elsewhere. Copyright and reuse terms must be agreed before publication; no automatic licence is granted by this upload.

Corrections and questions

Use the submission discussion area for manuscript-specific correspondence. Send editorial questions to editorial@openforex.io. Corrections, withdrawals, and retractions should preserve a dated explanation and links to the affected version.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Research articles

Original investigations with an explicit research question, method, evidence, limitations, complete references, and data-availability statement. Research articles follow editorial screening and external review.

Methods and data

Reproducible methods, datasets, and implementation studies. Document provenance, units, observation periods, transformations, software versions, uncertainty, access conditions, and reuse rights.

Review essays

Critical syntheses of the literature with a transparent selection method, attribution, comparative analysis, and limitations. Review essays follow external review.

Commentary and correspondence

Focused scholarly arguments, responses, or editorial correspondence. Editorial assessment is distinguished from external peer review and the article must identify its actual review process.

Privacy Statement

Account and submission information is used to operate the journal, communicate about manuscripts, assign reviews, and maintain editorial records. Author names and agreed publication metadata become public when an article is published; private manuscripts and review files are limited to their authorised workflow participants.

The platform records article-page and file-access activity for usage reports. These measure requests, not proof of reading or unique people. Sharing controls record deduplicated sharing actions; they do not confirm delivery or track private messages. Republication locations are submitted reports and are labelled with their verification status. Contact editorial@openforex.io about your information or a correction.
