About the Journal
Research that can be examined
The OpenForex Society Journal provides a scholarly publishing workflow for research on monetary reference systems, valuation methods, economic data, governance, and open technical standards. We welcome rigorous analysis of the OpenForex framework as well as critical and comparative work.
Scope and contribution types
Research articles develop an original argument or investigation. Methods and data papers explain reproducible techniques and evidence. Review essays assess existing literature. Commentary and correspondence identify a focused question or response. Article type and review history must be distinguished on publication.
Editorial responsibility
The editorial office manages submissions, reviewer assignments, revision requests, and publication decisions. Acceptance requires an editorial decision; uploading a manuscript does not publish it. The journal is beginning its publication programme. It does not yet advertise an appointed editorial board, an ISSN, indexing acceptance, or an impact factor.
Independence
Support for, or criticism of, the Society's framework should be judged on the quality of the argument and evidence. Authors and reviewers must disclose relevant financial and institutional interests. Sponsorship does not confer publication approval.
Publication terms
Reading published material is open. No payment is collected through this journal. Article-specific copyright and reuse terms must be agreed with the author before publication; the platform does not assign a blanket open licence on an author's behalf. Identifiers from external registration services will appear only after registration.

Review principles
The initial research workflow is double-anonymous: editors screen submissions, select reviewers, record recommendations, and decide whether revisions or acceptance are warranted. The standard targets are two reviewers, two weeks to respond to an invitation, and four weeks for a report. These are configurable workflow targets, not a promise of turnaround or evidence that a paper has been reviewed.
