# Support the OpenForex Foundation

Updated 2026-09-24.

## Sustain open knowledge
OpenForex needs careful literature, reproducible research, maintainable software, and transparent stewardship. Support can take the form of time, expertise, infrastructure, or funding under published arrangements.

## Contribute your skills
| Avenue | Useful first contribution | Starting point |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Documentation | Clarify a difficult concept or correct a broken reference | [Contribution guide](?page=seed-content/developers/contribution-guide) |
| Engineering | Reproduce a portal issue or improve accessibility | [Developer guide](?page=seed-content/developers/index) |
| Research | Examine an assumption with a reproducible experiment | [Simulation methods](?page=seed-content/simulations/index) |
| Standards review | Propose a precise behavior change with evidence | [RFC process](?page=seed-content/rfc-proposals/index) |
| Translation | Translate a pinned revision and preserve technical meaning | [Community](?page=seed-content/community/index) |

## Institutional and infrastructure support
Potential arrangements include hosting capacity, backup services, research grants, documentation fellowships, and maintainer time. A proposal should identify the offered resources, duration, conditions, operational dependencies, and any attribution expectations.

These are support avenues, not currently advertised funded programs. Official donation destinations, sponsorship contacts, and partnership intake channels have not been provided in this package. This site does not accept payments or assert tax treatment for contributions.

## Independence and transparency
Support should not buy standards approval, registry status, or privileged methodology changes. A published arrangement should describe relevant conditions and conflicts of interest. Recognition belongs in an acknowledgment or funding record rather than in technical requirements.

## Prepare a support proposal
Explain the work you want to support, its expected benefit, the evidence of completion, and how it can continue after the arrangement ends. For infrastructure, include an exit and data-transfer plan. Submit only through an official channel once that channel is published.

Read the [funding principles](?page=community/funding-policy), [funding notice](?page=legal/FUNDING), and [governance overview](?page=seed-content/governance/overview).
