# OpenForex brand identity

OpenForex is an open financial standards and knowledge institution. Its identity expresses openness, neutrality, interoperability, transparent stewardship, and global infrastructure.

## Core palette

| Colour | Hex | Role |
| --- | --- | --- |
| OpenForex Blue | `#063B5C` | Core identity, institutional authority, standards |
| OpenForex Teal | `#00A6A6` | Openness, connectivity, exchange |
| OpenForex Cyan | `#20C4D9` | Digital technology and knowledge accents |
| OpenForex Gold | `#C9A227` | Restrained institutional recognition and distinction |
| White | `#FFFFFF` | Open documentation surfaces |
| Slate | `#334155` | Body text and technical material |

## Wordmark

Keep OpenForex as one word and one identity. Render “Open” in OpenForex Teal and “Forex” in OpenForex Blue. Product descriptors sit alongside the shared wordmark rather than introducing independent identities.

## Ecosystem hierarchy

| Component | Purpose | Colour emphasis |
| --- | --- | --- |
| OpenForex Foundation | Institutional stewardship and governance | Deep Blue with restrained Gold |
| OpenForex Standards | Standards and specifications | Deep Blue and Teal |
| OpenForex Wiki | Knowledge and reference | Teal, Cyan, and White, anchored by Deep Blue |

Potential future Registry, Research, and Academy offerings should retain the same core identity. Their names do not imply that these services are currently available.

## Application

Use Deep Blue for primary actions and headings, Slate for reading, and White or pale blue/cyan tints for surfaces. Teal and Cyan identify connectivity and the digital knowledge layer. Reserve Gold for Foundation details rather than broad page backgrounds.

The exact Teal is used in the wordmark and decorative accents. Small text links use a darker teal (`#007A80`) for readability on light backgrounds. Primary buttons pair white text with Deep Blue. Avoid using bright Cyan, Teal, or Gold as small text on white.

The shared stylesheet defines reusable CSS properties for all six core colours. The root wiki and the shared-hosting portal use this same palette.

## QASH symbol rights and usage
