# TVX SDK 0.1.0: implementation provenance

Source: OpenForex TVX SDK 0.1.0, docs/PROVENANCE.md. The source text below is reproduced from the bundled implementation documentation. The SDK code and documentation are MIT licensed.

Read the [toolkit overview](?page=developer/tvx-sdk), download the [source archive](?page=developer/tvx-sdk&artifact=source), or verify the [release checksums](?page=developer/tvx-sdk&artifact=checksums).

The toolkit was built after inspecting the local converter at
`http://localhost/srb.gov.state.africa/sics/afraxref/` and its related source on
2026-09-24. That address is local to the originating workspace; it is not an
externally available service address for package users.

## Observed behavior

The converter obtains currencies with `tvx_value` and computes
`amount * (fromValue / toValue)` in `convertCurrency`. Its display formatting
uses 2–6 decimal places, while its internal arithmetic uses JavaScript Number.
The nearby `tvx_neutral.js` expresses the same direct-ratio relationship.

The backend's `computeCurrencyStructuralValue` selects effective GDP values when
positive, normalizes alpha/beta/gamma/delta by their sum, and multiplies weighted
GDP, PPP GDP, population, efficiency, gold-anchor, gold-weight, and support terms.
This toolkit implements that observed equation; it does not supply live weights.

## Deliberate differences

| Source behavior | Toolkit behavior |
| --- | --- |
| Number arithmetic for conversion | Exact decimal inputs and BigInt rational arithmetic |
| Display rounding | Explicit output scale and named rounding mode |
| Invalid rows may be skipped | Adapter rejects malformed snapshots |
| Missing AFRA may receive value 1 | No inserted currencies or anchor defaults |
| AFR is mapped to AFRA in the application | Alias mapping is explicit |
| Feed can use cached fallback | No implicit cache or live-data substitution |
| Latest board timestamp drives the display | Each selected observation is checked |
| Invalid effective GDP can fall back to raw GDP | Supplied invalid overrides are rejected |

AFRA policy zones, market/structural rate blending, volatility rules, SSE feeds,
UI components, live datasets, database models, and deployment secrets are not
included. The source hash manifest identifies inspected files without distributing
their contents. New code and fixtures are covered by this repository's MIT license.

The working OpenForex Standard and an implementation package have separate
version identities. Toolkit 0.1.0 is a first software release, not a change to the
Society's standard status or an assertion of third-party conformance certification.
